About this Event

Feral Minks, Neon Cowboy + Nick Earle & The Reckless Hearts bring a taste of rock 'n roll to Toronto's legendary Rivoli.

FERAL MINKS Feral Minks is an electrifying new force in Canadian Rock, seamlessly blending gritty authenticity with a bold, genre-defying sound. Their music fuses raw indie rock energy with introspective lyricism, driven by edgy guitar riffs, haunting synths, and a rhythm section that demands attention. With a knack for crafting melodies that linger long after the final note, Feral Minks deliver songs that feel simultaneously intimate and anthemic.

Hailing from Kitchener, Ontario, Feral Minks began as a solo project during the throes of the pandemic, initiated by lead singer and guitarist Kent Merriam. In early 2021, Merriam released the debut EP Loam under the Feral Minks name, which quickly caught the attention of Jay Emmons of The Glorious Sons. This connection led to Emmons and his longtime collaborator Steve Kirstein taking the reins for the production of the band’s sophomore self titled EP. To complete their lineup, Merriam enlisted seasoned Kitchener musicians Algernon Friolet, Jay Hogle, and Ryan Whitney.

Since the release of their self-titled EP in the fall of 2023, Feral Minks have been gaining incredible momentum. In 2024, they earned HTZ FM’s prestigious Rock Search title, joining the ranks of Canadian legends like Finger 11, The Trews, and The Glorious Sons. Their breakout single “Matador” cracked the Top 25 on the Canadian Active Rock charts marking a major breakthrough for the band. On stage, Feral Minks continue to make waves, recently drawing the largest crowd at the Back 40 Stage at Meadows Fest 2025 and sharing stages with acts like City and Colour, The Glorious Sons, The Bluestones, Sloan, and Big Sugar.

This past fall, the band released their anticipated EP, Young Desire, and embarked on their first headline tour, hitting 12 markets across Southeastern Ontario, followed by a run opening for Texas King. Fall 2025 will be packed with more Ontario touring followed by runs in Eastern and Western Canada in early 2026.

NICK EARLE & THE RECKLESS HEARTSNick Earle is quickly becoming one of the most electrifying names in Canadian rock. Hailing from St. John’s, Newfoundland, Earle has spent over a decade honing his craft on stages across North America, first as one half of the award-winning blues duo Earle & Coffin, before shifting gears into something bigger, louder, and unmistakably his own. Between the two acts he has earned 21 MusicNL awards and 2 Canadian Folk Music Awards.

Now leading Nick Earle & The Reckless Hearts, he’s bringing a fresh surge of energy to rock ‘n’ roll; balancing sharp songwriting with show-stopping guitar work that’s as technical as it is explosive. Their live show is a high-octane, no-apologies blast of guitars, sweat, and swagger - earning them spots alongside the likes of Nickelback, Matt Mays, The Trews, and Third Eye Blind.

Nick Earle & The Reckless Hearts are channeling something raw, real, and recklessly alive - bringing East Coast Rock to the masses, one hook at a time. After the breakout success of No More Hiding and its viral single “Born to Lose” (4.8M+ TikTok plays, ECMA-nominated), Earle returns in Spring 2025 with Under the Influence, his most ambitious work yet, shaped over two years of writing, recording, and live shows. Now signed to 745 Music Management (founded by Jay Emmons of The Glorious Sons), Earle is leveling up with a national spotlight, including a slot opening for ZZ Top and The Killers in Summer 2025..

Whether it’s a smoky bar room stage or a summer festival crowd, Nick Earle is channeling something raw, real, and recklessly alive - bringing East Coast Rock to the masses, one hook at a time.
