Welsh Talent: Rhys Ifans
We’re pleased to open our pop-up festival with the playful title Enduring Love starring Wales' own Rhys Ifans. Anyone who has seen this film remembers it’s opening sequence which is not one for the squeamish! When Daniel Craig (Joe) and Rhys Ifans (Jed) try to stop a hot air balloon accident, things take a turn as Rhys Ifans’ Jed becomes obsessive. Directed by Roger Michell who is best known for Notting Hill, this is certainly a turn in the other direction from the famous rom-com.
This film was made while Daniel Craig was a rising star, and puts in a great performance, not long before he was snapped up to play James Bond in Casino Royale.
Enduring Love is an adaptation of a novel and was written for the screen by best-selling author Ian McEwan.
This screening is available as a single ticket or as part of the 3 day weekend pass.
