Join the Feminist Bird Club Denver & Front Range Chapter for our October 2024 bird outing at

Where: Fairmount Cemetary and High Line Canal!

When: Saturday, October 19th from 4-6PM.

Directions to Meet-up Location: Drive into the main entrance of the cemetery at 430 South Quebec Street, Denver, CO 80247. From the entrance, drive to the southeast corner of the cemetery to a parking lot at coordinates 39°42'17.1"N 104°53'33.9"W (can copy and paste into Google maps). An image of meet-up location is included below. The cemetery entrance is the red point and the meet-up location is the yellow star.

What to expect: We'll walk 1-2 miles slowly on a paved trail. We'll take the High Line Canal towards Windsor Lake. The trail is tree-lined and has plenty of shade.

All are welcome on this outing! No birding experience is needed! We can provide a loaner set of binoculars.
October weather is variable, so please wear layers and bring snacks, water, and sunscreen in addition to your birding gear, if you have any.
It may get a little dark during this outing. Please bring a flashlight if you have one.

Accessibility Info: The meet-up location includes free parking, no restrooms, and no water. The terrain is mostly flat with wide paved trail. It may get dark during this outing
