This is the sign up for Design Firm & Student Teams along with Material Partners.
We are soliciting teams composed of design firms (or design school students) and two material partners. Design Teams and Material Partners will be paired up LIVE at the Grand Reveal Party on January 21th, 2025 and the main event theme will be revealed.

*Design Teams do not require IIDA membership but there is a discounted rate for design firms with IIDA members (Professional, Associate) who participate. Student teams are free. Sponsorship of the IIDA PND chapter as a benefactor does not include IIDA memberships. Please visit www.iida.org to sign-up or renew your membership. Design teams will recieve free admission for (5) to the fashion show competition.
**Material Partner must choose to sign up in either the Pliable or Rigid material category and then supply the design team only with materials that fit the spirit of that description. Multi-Line or Multi-Brand companies can only participate on one team and must select one internally manufactured brand for team to work with. (EG graded-in textiles or 3rd party veneers and laminates do not count.) The goal is to allow designers to work with two very different types of materials and avoid competing products being used on the same team. Each material partner will receive free admission for (1) to the fashion show competition.
ABOUT FASHION MEETS FINISH
IIDA PND Fashion Meets Finish returns to Philadelphia in 2026.
Fashion Meets Finish is a friendly Design competition where design teams are paired with two material manufacturer partners. The design team will use materials from both manufacturers to create an inventive garment fitted to a model of their choice.
The garments will be presented in a runway-style competition in Spring 2026, date TBD.
