Celebrate Strive Not to Drive Week at the Hendersonville Farmers Market! Join us for a morning of interactive activities that highlight safe, accessible, and sustainable ways to get around our community.
- Participate in a Walk Audit Training at 9:30 AM or 11:30 AM, led by the Bike.Walk.HVL. Team and discover how to evaluate the walkability of our streets
- Ride or walk to the market and receive a special participant token
- Bike parking will be available near the market area
Strive Not to Drive (May 15-22) is a regional initiative supported by Go Mountain Commuting through the French Broad River MPO and Land of Sky Regional Council. Strive Not to Drive has been occurring since the 1980s, promoting sustainable transportation and safer, more connected communities.
