What does it mean to leave behind the only stage you’ve ever known? Farewell, Opéra follows three Paris Opera Ballet dancers - Alice Renavand, Stéphane Bullion, and Aurélia Bellet - as they face compulsory retirement at age 42. With breathtaking grace and quiet vulnerability, the film captures their final rehearsals, backstage rituals, and personal reflections on artistry, aging, and reinvention. A tender meditation on change and legacy, this documentary invites us to witness the beauty of letting go, and the strength it takes to do so.
Followed by a Q&A with director Yonathan Kellerman, with a reception in the lobby.
