About this Event
Step into the world of George Pol. Georghiou through a unique family educational workshop inspired by the exhibition Timeless Cyprus at the Hellenic Centre.
This interactive theatre-based experience invites children and their families to explore Cyprus not only as a place on the map, but as memory, light, home and feeling. Through storytelling, movement, imagination and creative play, participants will connect with the artist’s paintings in a lively and meaningful way.
Together, we will:
✨ Discover the life and work of George Pol. Georghiou
✨ Turn everyday objects chairs, houses, animals into stories full of emotion
✨ Explore themes of belonging, loss and return in an age-appropriate and sensitive way
✨ Travel through the landscapes of Cyprus through art and imagination
✨ Create collectively through theatre, visual expression and narration
This workshop encourages children to see art as a living story and gives families a shared creative experience inside the exhibition space.
👨👩👧👦 Designed for families and children
🎨 No previous theatre or art experience needed just curiosity and imagination!
Come and experience art not only with your eyes, but with your voice, body and heart.
