About this Event
Families will enjoy multiple activities led by CEC educators. Enjoy awesome insect encounters as you catch bugs in the prairie and hold the walking sticks and other bugs indoors. Play bug-themed games and make your own butterfly camoflauge. End the day with special prayer time to thank God for our many blessings.
Bring your own picnic for lunchtime and a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the day.
This program runs from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm and meets in St. Francis Hall in our main CEC Neu building. (see map below)
The Catholic Ecology Center sits on nearly 60 acres, part of a 225-acre preserve complex, of diverse habitats including prairies, forests, the Rubicon River, Otter Creek, a pond, and organic gardening areas.
