Join us with your little ones as we explore the wonders of the natural world together!
Nature Sprouts is a gentle, engaging introduction to outdoor discovery for toddlers and their caregivers, designed to spark curiosity, confidence, and joy through hands-on experiences in nature.
Each session includes story time, sensory play, guided outdoor exploration, and simple activities that help children interact with the world around them in age-appropriate ways. The program is relaxed, welcoming, and encourages caregivers to participate alongside their child.
Programs meet in St. Francis Hall and run from 10:00–11:30 AM. Families are welcome to stay afterward to continue exploring, play outside, or enjoy lunch on the grounds.
Friday, June 19th: Here Comes the Sun
Spend a fun-filled morning exploring the warmth and shadows of the summer sun! We will discover how animals and people use the sun and shade to stay comfortable, then move into playful outdoor activities like shadow tracing and even some water balloon fun. Story time will tie in lessons about enjoying God’s creation safely, appreciating the sunshine, and moving our bodies in healthy ways. This day is perfect for soaking up summer, laughter, and light!
**Important Notes:
Your first ticket is for you and 1 child. If you have more children in the age group, please purchase an additional ticket for each child. To ensure we have enough supplies, please purchase additonal tickets for any older siblings who would like to be active participants. Children less than 2 years old are free.
A themed snack will be provided. Please be sure to report any allergies when registering.
