About this Event
Bring your family for this special day of exploration and learning. Discover activities and live engagements, supported by The Kirk Foundation. Meet your neighbors, enjoy music, and indulge in delicious treats from local vendors. And, of course our iconic giant building blocks will be available for all to play!
The event will be held at The Underline's Hammock Playground, located across the street from 1523 SW 1st Ave. Google Pin.
What to Expect:
- The Thyme Machine food truck will give Family Day participants 25% off on Saturday.
- This event is FREE to the public, but REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.
- There will be a waitlist for sold-out events, and you may also register for future events.
- The event will be from 10 AM - 12 PM every first Saturday of the month at the Hammock Playground!
•••Getting there: The Underline's Hammock Playground
• 🚆 Take the Metrorail to the Brickell Metrorail Station, exit south, and walk toward The Hammock Playground on SW 15th Road and SW 1st Avenue.
• 🚴♂️ Walk or bike (bike racks are located at The Hammock Playground) to The Hammock Playground located at SW 1st Avenue and SW 15th Road below Metrorail. There is a bike path located along SW 1st Avenue.
• 🚗 If you drive, please use the metered spaces on SW 1st Avenue after crossing SW 15 Road or the nearby parking garages after crossing SW 15 Road and heading south on SW 1st Avenue.
•••👩🦼 Accessibility: The Underline is fully wheelchair accessible.
•••💡 COME PREPARED: Bring water, sunscreen, light snacks, and a raincoat/umbrella, The Underline Urban Gym is an outdoor space.
•••🌧 Rain Policy: Considerable amount of rain and/or lightning will postpone the event 2 hours before event time by email or during the event time by email and in-person if needed.
