About this Event
Two of the ceramicists from Art Hub, Verity and Virginia, are starting this new family ceramics workshop designed for parents/carers and their children to share the joy of making pottery side by side.
Do you want to make a dinosaur, ikebana vase, tea set or breakfast bowl? The world of clay is your oyster. Each session will center around a specific object, but people are welcome to make anything of their choosing.
This session the focus is on making plates, we will demonstrate different techniques to make plates such as slab building and press molds and slump molds.
Includes firing of 1 piece per person, materials and equipment. You will be contacted when work has been fired and is ready to be collected around 4 weeks after the workshop.
All abilities are welcome, available for children aged 4-11.
