Join us for a family fun ceilí event at the Séamus Ennis Arts Centre as part of our Tradfest 2026 celebrations!
The event will feature live traditional Irish music, dancing, and fun for all ages.

We invite you to dance like nobody’s watching as experienced ceilí dancing instructors, Jerry O’Reilly and Rosie Davis guide you through the steps and ensure that everyone has a great time.

If dancing is not for you then we still invite you to join in the fun, soak up the atmosphere and enjoy live traditional Irish music by Paudie O’Connor, Aoife Ní Chaoimh and Mary Corcoran.

Join us from 13:00 where you can also experience The Black Raven Pipe Band as they will either march through the charming village, creating a spectacular procession, or perform on the square before leading us into the enchanting Piper’s Garden.

The Cottage Cafe will also be open, serving delicious food and drinks throughout the event.
Come and experience the joy of Irish culture with your loved ones in a unique and welcoming atmosphere.
Please note that this event will be held in our outdoor courtyard so please dress warmly for the weather.

Please Note that children must be accompanied by a parent at all times. Tickets are required per person attending.

More About our Musicians & Dancers:
Paudie O Connor and Aoife Ní Chaoimh are an accordion and fiddle duet from County Kerry. Their music is heavily influenced by the The Sliabh Lauchra musical tradition of East Kerry and North Cork. In 2014 they released the highly acclaimed album Didn’t She Dance and Dance. Paudie learned the craft of playing for set dancers from the fames Johnny O’Leary playing for set dancers in the famed Dan O Connell’s pub in Knocknagree. He has played regularly with the Temple House Ceilí Band over the years.

Jerry O’Reilly and Rosie Davis are much in demand as singers and céilí dance leaders and are known for encouraging new dancers and harnessing the enthusiasm and expertise of experienced dancers to recreate the lively atmosphere of the traditional house dances and dances at the crossroads. Jerry has been a stalwart of The Brooks Academy set dancing instruction group for over 40 years. They teach yearly at Scoil Samhradh Willie Clancy and at Folk festivals in the UK and Europe.
