About this Event
Hosted by The Holy Innocents' Episcopal Church School, artist and priest, Ruth Lindberg Pattison, looks to the legacy of Celtic spirituality to say that God is in all of creation that surrounds us - in earth, fire, water, air - a spirituality rooted deep in Celtic tradition that sees everything as infused with the Spirit, including humanity. Ruth completed the School of Celtic Consciousness with John Philip Newell and conducted a self-directed Celtic Pilgrimage to the British Isles, culminating in Iona. The Rev. Ruth Pattison is the Associate Rector for pastoral care, liturgy, and creative ministries at Holy Innocents' Episcopal Church, in Atlanta, Georgia. Come with open minds as we learn techniques through the creative, hands-on spiritual exercises she explores that can be used for individual practice, in congregational and formation classes, and for helping parents who want to learn to pray with children.
