Info: These dancers today, represent the best of the Community Engagement Programs which brings art education to Chicago schools through a variety of in-school and Joffrey programs. Joffrey Engagement’s instruction is in a range of styles and techniques including African, Ballet, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Latin and more! Serving students grades K-12, their mission is to provide equitable access, high quality arts, learning and dance education to all Chicago youth. Under the leadership of their program director, Michael Smith, we will see passionate student dancers who are developing their creativity through free dance classes, community partnerships, performance opportunities, workshops, and plain hard work. No prior dance training is required to join, only dedication and enjoyment!
