We’ve always hated the Phrase “Basics of Miniature painting” as “basic” implies that is easy, which we all know is not the case, I much prefer the term, fundamentals.This workshop is targeted at novices and intermediate painters who want to refine their fundamentals.
We always get asked to run workshops covering the following, faces, paint consistency, colour theory, value contrast, structure, and definition. So we thought wed do something mad for the spirit of Xmas and combine them all into one mega workshop! You'll not just learn the theory behind the topics and how they work, but also how to apply them - with individual, guided feedback and coaching to bring your miniatures to life!
What’s better than 1 instructor! 2 instructors! James Flain brings over 8 years of experience running workshops in Perth, including The Iron Cygnet and WOMP. His passion lies in helping miniature painters at all levels.
And Gorcin Kurejsepi is a well-known and multi-award-winning Perth miniatures and scale model painter who loves realism and the intricacies of miniature painting.
Although we will provide a miniature (to paint on), we encourage you to bring 1-2 minis you've worked on recently that you want feedback on. If you want to work on your own miniature, you're welcome to bring that, too.

PROVIDED: Miniature [TBA], wet pallets, paints, and lights.
BRING: Quality brush/s with a fine tip (2 different sizes), an open mind. 1 or 2 minis you've worked on recently (for feedback)
