CTM unveils a new event format with Exponential Function, an immersive warehouse rave taking place at Berlin-Kreuzberg’s Haus der Visionäre, a recent addition to the city’s landscape that CTM will also return to for our 2026 festival. Presale starts 16 July via Resident Advisor, with pre-registration now open.
Headlining the night is Japan’s leading otherworldly selector ¥ØU$UK€ ¥UK1MAT$U, an absolute force of nature behind the decks known for his uncanny ability to blend wildly different genres into coherent, mind-expanding sets. His mixing approach feels both spontaneous and inevitable, whether he's connecting drill with hard techno or making gabber flow seamlessly into reggaeton.
Bringing pure unfiltered soul to her selections, the meticulously exploded puissance of London-born DJ, producer, label founder, community builder, activist and UK beacon SHERELLE hums with her deep love for jungle, footwork, hardcore, and grime, translated into fast-paced dance injections dripping with emotion and chaotic beauty. Expect high-BPM breakbeats, acid blasts, and hard-hitting club energy with that most powerful of dancefloor weapons: introspection.
Tokyo’s Minna-no-kimochi summon trance as a heaving beast, 90s rave and 2010s EDM exhumed into a post-club wasteland—sweat dripping from concrete walls, bodies sick with dance fever, the air a spectral pulse. From ambient fog, their trance-endental rituals beckon the mind towards bodily surrender and ignition. Carving out their domain in derelict warehouses, coastal ruins, and decaying urban temples, they birth dreamstate mutations and ambient transmissions: open portals where dance mutates, expands, and devours the night.
Tearing through warehouse floors and festival stages with a style as kitten-playful as it is punishing, DJ Fuckoff’s sets whip you across the hardcore spectrum at shotgun speed, weaving raw breakbeats, acidic techno, and gushes of trap and psytrance into ferocious mega-energy whirlwinds. Percolating provocations over pounding basslines, her sound is part punk rage, part futuristic rave utopia. New Zealand-born, raised on bush doofs and shaped by hip hop and early dubstep, that wide-open musical upbringing gets fused into Berlin’s hard-edged club culture with seething confidence and primo not-giving-a-fuckedness.
DJ, producer and promoter mi-el is known for her meticulous, deeply personal and grinning approach to selection. Sets from this Berlin-via-London artist blur and slice through club precision with artful interference, gliding across the cortex chimerically. A low-pressure front rises before spiking into electrified surges, where skewed bass and spectral textures churn in magnetic disarray. Her regular NTS portal channels everything from choral fragments to searing electronics, traversing the edges of heritage and laughing invention to unspool restless narratives: what begins as a quiet ceremony can easily end in raging tempest.
Building on CTM's 25-year history of championing experimental music, the event uses d&b's Soundscape system to turn the warehouse into an immersive sonic environment. Plus, the event lands on the night before a holiday, so dance until dawn, sleep until dusk: the universe approves.
