This drop in session will focus on colour exploration through poetry. We will begin by mind-mapping all the things we love about certain colours. Children will choose a colour swatch they are drawn to and write a poem based on it. Afterwards they can paperclip the swatch to the poem and display this on a wall within the library highlighting the creativity of families in Plymouth. The drop in nature of this workshop allows families to come and go as they please, fitting in with their day to day routine. It is open to children of any age and the activity can be adapted to facilitate this.
