After the success of our hop tu naa themed exhibition Otherworld in 2023, we’re holding another community exhibition this year.Spring Forward has invited open submissions from IOM-based artists responding to a brief celebrating the return of the sun. Springtime, Easter, May Day, Crosh Ciurns and Beltane – the revitalising energy of spring shakes the land out of it’s winter torpor and conjures new life. It is a time of growth and rebirth, of motion and fire, of longer days and the promise of summer.
The exhibition will be on show from Wednesday 1st April through to Friday 8th May, with the gallery open (free entry) 10am-4pm Tuesday-Friday, as well as during our events.
We are holding a preview evening on Thursday 2nd April 7-8pm, open to all but especially to our artists. We will also be open Saturday 11th April and Saturday 2nd May 12-4pm (free entry).
