About this Event
The Austrian Cultural Forum New York (ACFNY) is pleased to invite you to the closing event of the ACFNY exhibition featuring a compelling panel discussion on sustainable fashion with Austrian photographer Elfie Semotan, Austrian fashion designer Nina Hollein and Dr. Bernice Pan, founder of the UK-based sustainable fashion brand Deploy.
The discussion will explore the evolving landscape of sustainable fashion, highlighting innovative practices and ethical approaches that are reshaping the industry. Nina Hollein will discuss how sustainability influences her creative process, while Dr. Pan will share insights into Deploy’s eco-friendly practices and the challenges and successes of promoting sustainable fashion.
The event will include presentations by each panelist, followed by a discussion moderated by Dr. Stephanie Buhmann, Head of Visual Arts, Architecture, and Design at the ACFNY, and conclude with a Q&A session with the audience. Attendees will gain valuable insights into sustainable fashion principles and practices, as well as learn about the future of an industry committed to environmental and social responsibility.
Please find more information on the ACFNY website.
