Evidence Based Birth Childbirth Class: Feb 24 - March 17, 2025

This childbirth preparation class focuses on pain coping, evidence, and advocacy. We will meet via Zoom on Mondays at 6:30 pm ET for 4 consecutive weeks, beginning February 24 and ending March 17, 2025. This accelerated course format covers the whole EBB Childbirth Class content in 4 sessions.

Week 1 - Orientation, Phases & Physiology of Labor, Evidence Based Care (2 h)

W eek 2 - Pain Coping, Comfort Measures, and Advocacy (1-1.5 h)

W eek 3 - Interventions and Birth Plans (1-1.5 h)

Week 4 - Comfort measures rehearsal; postpartum preparation and finding resources to support you (2 h)

Video material will be covered by students, independently each week, prior to each of the live Zoom classes.
