Welcome to the European Traditional Dance Workshop!
Come join us at the Pearce Institute, 840-860 Govan Rd, Glasgow G51 3UU for a fun-filled day of learning and dancing. The workshop is organised by the Glasgow European Citizens Forum in conjunction with the Festival of Europe which has lots of events on from May 7th to the 17th. Check out their programme.
Through music and dance we can explore our rich European heritage and foster connections.
This workshop is perfect for anyone interested in exploring the cultural heritage of European traditional dances.
We are delighted to have 6 Dance Groups taking part in this workshop, Italian, Breton,Swedish, Irish, Ukrainian and Polish.
Our experienced instructors will guide you through various dance styles from different European countries, teaching you the steps and moves that make each dance unique. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced dancer, there's something for everyone at this workshop.
