Develop fluent level-changes within your dance from standing tall through to horizontal on Earth...and back up again.
Learn how nuanced level-variations in relation to partners, may contribute to clear offers of support and flight, as well as other types of satisfying, inspiring and unusual dances together.
Asher Levin is based in Dartington and loves being and interacting with the land and elements. He’s been practicing Contact Improvisation, as well as physical theatre for over 30 years. Since 2008 he's been teaching and leading CI classes, workshops and intensives nationally and internationally.
In CI, he loves the practice of learning to trust ourselves and others - even within the unknown and re-seeing the known afresh for the first time.
Asher is particularly interested in the interplay of spaciousness and intimacy, dynamic, tenderness and finding the unusual. He's interested in relating to gravity and developing a deep, creative connection with the earth, as much as with human partners.
His sessions are touching, playful and energising...we can't wait!
