Special guest:
Sinéad X Sanders
"Sanders is like a ghost from a simpler time...which, given the wretched state of the world today, is seriously high praise." The Georgia Straight
Raised on jukebox-era rock & roll, blues, R&B, country, jazz and punk rock, Sanders cut her teeth playing local pubs and various stages in her hometown of Vancouver. With a hard-earned gift for keeping folks entertained, she's been compared to the likes of Wanda Jackson, Billie Holiday, Lucinda Williams, and Elvis Presley – and these legends were influences, to be sure – but Sanders' vibe and voice remain uniquely her own. From a whisper to a wail, Gibson acoustic in hand, Sanders continues to promote her acclaimed first full album release THEM SHADOWS, released at year's end to a sold-out crowd at the Wise Hall. https://linktr.ee/sineadxsanders
