Founded in March 2024 by composer Aslan Gotov, bassist Viktor Khomenko, and duduk player Sar Kamler, this eight-piece ensemble has taken Toronto by storm with their masterful fusion of Circassian, Armenian, Ukrainian, and Balkan folk traditions with contemporary jazz and funk. At the heart of their sound lies Kamler's haunting Armenian duduk, a UNESCO-recognized ancient woodwind that serves as a bridge between musical worlds. The proof of their impact speaks for itself: two completely sold-out concerts in 2025 alone, including their "Duduk, Jazz & Winter Nights" performance at City Playhouse Theatre and their intimate "Sunset Serenade" at Harmony Hall. Recognition followed with a prestigious Ontario Arts Council grant supporting their debut album creation.
