About this Event
This group is a supportive and therapeutic space for adult children (+18) who are estranged, are no contact, or have a strained relationship with:
Parents/caretakers, siblings, grandparents, aunt or uncle, cousins or other family members
Community
Religion
Culture

We will meet on a recurring and structured basis with a roadmap to offer a shared sense of community to help you:
- Connect with people with similar experiences
- Get support
- Process loss and grief
- Build self-regulation skills
- Explore boundary setting or reconnecting on your own terms
- Express thoughts and feelings through Art and group discussions with the help of a licensed professional

How to enroll:
Please send an email to [email protected] with your request to join. You will be contacted with a brief screener questionnaire and a payment link and instructions to join. Then you’re all set!
Fee:
$275 for 5 sessions total and $55 per session. Minimum of 3 sessions required.
Requirements:
- Meetings will take place in person.
- All materials will be provided!
- Drop-ins welcome with minimum 3 sessions attendance
- No Refunds
- Maximum 8 participants
Your Therapist’s relevant training and experience:
Sahar Eskandari, a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) has formal Training in Psychodynamic, Emotionally Focused, and Art Therapies, as well as formal training in Trauma (SKMHC) and Grief (NICAB). She also has formal experience supporting estranged adult children, families, and Group Therapy.
