Erik Rabasca is a Connecticut-based singer-songwriter and founder of Highest Frequency Records, currently performing at folk venues throughout Connecticut and the Hudson Valley. His forthcoming album New Scrolls (June 5, 2026) is his most focused and personal work yet — a fully-realized rootsy voyage through country folk & swing where classic roadhouse grit meets intimate storytelling, drawing on the lyrical spirit of Dylan, Marley, and John Prine. With themes balancing mindful existence and the hereafter, energy and form, looming death and the will to live, New Scrolls shares hard-earned wisdom with weary optimism. No stranger to big moments, Rabasca’s former moniker, Light Warriors, was hand-picked by multi-Grammy winner Jon Batiste to open his Alive at Five concert appearance, and in prior projects he has opened for Grammy winners as diverse as Mike Farris, SOJA and Easy Star All Stars. New Scrolls arrives as Rabasca steps fully into the acoustic spotlight — stripped back, road-worn, and right where he belongs. Fully embracing and transmuting his influences, he performs with ease and joy, continually winning fans over in storied CT venues like SPACE Ballroom, Milford Arts Council, Fairfield Theater Company, Bijou Theater and more. Rabasca will be actively performing through the fall as both a soloist and with The Connecticut Hope Collective at venues and large (Sacred Heart University Theater) and small (Cantean, Hamden) as well as CT Festivals in Bethany, New London and Glastonbury CT.
