About this Event
Equitable Bereavement Care Conference 2025
Honouring Loss & Confronting Racial Disparities
Join us for a day of learning, sharing, and connecting with Black and Asian parents affected by baby loss and experts in the field of maternity and perinatal bereavement care.
To reflect the theme 'Honouring Loss & Confronting Racial Disparities', this in-person event will feature keynote speakers, interactive panels, and networking opportunities.
We'll bring together bereaved parents, birth workers, healthcare professionals, community groups, researchers, advocates and allies to hold meaningful and action-focussed conversations about:
- Racial disparities in perinatal and infant loss data
- The impact of systemic racism on grief, healing, and access to bereavement support
- Real life examples of culturally safe and affirming approaches to bereavement care
- Community-led solutions and collective advocacy
- How bereaved parents are developing innovative and meaningful support systems for families affected by baby loss
We are honoured to partner with the following sponsors that share our commitment to equitable perinatal bereavement care, honouring loss and confronting racial disparities:
