About this Event

Are you involved in your local community or do you work for a voluntary or public sector organisation?

Run over 3 sessions (1.5 hours per week), this enjoyable and informative course aims to raise awareness of ways to save energy, support schemes, and how you can advise others to reduce costs and manage energy bills. We will provide practical resources that you can share with others, and also send out regular newsletters and updates after the course.

This information continues to be absolutely vital. Average annual energy costs went up by 10% on 1st October and there is expected to be another small rise on 1st January 2025. National Energy Action estimate that 6 million households are in fuel poverty and record numbers of households are in over £3 billion of energy debt .

Please note that this is a 3-week course, 1.5 hours per week

The course is funded by Northern Gas Networks and is free to anyone who is based within their operating area (most of Yorkshire, Northern Cumbria and the North East of England).
