Encore presents two fantastic concerts featuring Herefordshire’s most talented young musicians!All of the young musicians are part of Encore Youth Music. They rehearse between September and April and these concerts are the highlight of their season. The senior groups have the opportunity to attend workshops and play at other events. Indeed some players toured Spain last Summer! Many of the older and more advanced players continue their instrumental studies at university and college. Come along and see the best Herefordshire has to offer – you’ll be astounded at the quality and musicianship of these young people.
Tuesday 28th April – The two-night celebration of Encore Youth Music begins with String players. This concert features Junior and Intermediate String groups. The finale sees the most senior string players joined by woodwind, brass and percussion for the exceptional 60 year old Herefordshire Youth Orchestra (conducted by Barbara Kinnaird). Enjoy a fun programme of traditional light classical music.
