Encore presents two fantastic concerts featuring Herefordshire’s most talented young musicians!All of the young musicians are part of Encore Youth Music. They rehearse between September and April and these concerts are the highlight of their season. The senior groups have the opportunity to attend workshops and play at other events. Indeed some players toured Spain last Summer! Many of the older and more advanced players continue their instrumental studies at university and college. Come along and see the best Herefordshire has to offer – you’ll be astounded at the quality and musicianship of these young people.
Wednesday 29th April – The two-night celebration of Encore Youth Music Encore concludes with Concert Bands. The woodwind, brass and percussion players of all levels will entertain you with a wide range of musical genres. The finale features Herefordshire Youth Concert Band (conducted by Colin Hales) who are well known in the county for supporting ABF the Soldiers Charity.
