About this Event

Join artist Neera Sehgal in the Co-Working space for an Indian Blockprint Tea Towel Workshop that celebrates creativity, community, and collaboration.

Rooted in the traditional craft of block printing—where many hands come together to create something beautiful—this session reflects the vibrant diversity of Acton itself. Using bright coloured inks and hand-carved blocks inspired by nature, home, and local architecture, participants will design their own unique tea towel (that may also be displayed as a deocrative wallhanging) that they may take home with them, blending personal expression with a shared creative experience

All tickets - both residents and guests - should be registered for under the name and details of the individual attending.

About Neera

Neera Sehgal is a West London-based printmaker whose work explores pattern, memory and identity through the art of Indian woodblock printing. Born in London and rooted in her Indian heritage, Neera’s creative practice is not just about making art, but about making connections: between cultures, generations, and communities. She believes in sharing the history, technique and joy of blockprinting through accessible workshops and collaborative events.

Her work has been exhibited in notable venues including the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition (2024), and she held a solo show Imprinted at the Nehru Centre, Mayfair in 2024. As a facilitator she has run blockprint workshops for major institutions such as the V&A London, the British Museum, Somerset House, Pitzhanger Manor & Gallery, Gunnersbury Museum, the National Trust.
