Join us for an event with the Met Police, helping Black Newham residents aged 16-25 explore education, employment and career pathways.
About this Event

In collaboration with the Metropolitan Police, Our Newham will be hosting an event aimed at supporting young people aged 16–25 from Black communities into employment and training opportunities, working alongside local educators and employers.

This event will specifically target young Black residents, including those who are not in education, employment or training (NEET), individuals attending Pupil Referral Units, residents with SEND needs. The Metropolitan Police will also promote the event through their networks, with a focus on engaging young people.

In partnership with local partners across construction and mainstream sectors, employers will be offering a range of opportunities including jobs, apprenticeships, and work experience placements.

Additionally, the event will provide guidance and support for parents, guardians, and carers, helping them understand how to access targeted services and opportunities for their children.
