This Pride Month, we’re celebrating the music that helped so many of us survive being different, dramatic, emotional, confused, closeted, loud, soft, angry, heartbroken, or unapologetically ourselves.
Because long before we came out, we screamed the lyrics! This is for the emos, scene kids, theater gays, eyeliner lesbians, pop punk himbos, besties who became allies, former Tumblr addicts, elder Warped Tour survivors, and every LGBTQIA+ kid who realized they might be queer while listening to Paramore alone in their bedroom.

• Taking Back Thursday Photographer Starr Noir capturing every moment!
• DJ CIP spinning nonstop Emo, Pop Punk & Nu Metal anthems from My Chemical Romance, Paramore, Fall Out Boy, Panic! At The Disco, The Used, Taking Back Sunday, Linkin Park, Bring Me The Horizon, Avril Lavigne, and all the songs that made us feel seen before we even had the words for it.
It was never a phase. It was self expression. It was community. It was queer awakening. And for one night, we’re bringing it all back.
