About this Event
Many paintings live on fabric, but we don’t often stitch into it! In this class you’ll learn several basic embroidery stitches and how they can be used in paintings. We’ll talk layering, pattern, texture, and how borrowing techniques from textile art can inform your painting practice! You may bring a work in progress that you want to experiment on. No prior experience is required.
This class is taught by visiting artist-in-residence Cora Armstrong. Cora joins us for June and July from Portland, OR. You can learn more about them here!
This class is held in the Art Barn at our Art Farm location at 45 Hawthorne Lane. Directions and parking information will be included in your confirmation email.
Schedule: Sunday, June 7th, 12-3pm.

If you register more than three weeks before this class begins, a 20% early bird discount will automatically be applied to your ticket at checkout.

Sustaining tickets help us continue to invest in programming. Full price tickets cover the costs associated with running classes.
