About this Event

'Stories/Storyboard Lifedrawing: Films, Comics, Books, Manga Inspired Sequences'

The world of storytelling through comics, movies manga and more…

For some, this season has been about love and Valentine’s. For others, it has been about

finally escaping a situationship, coming to terms with self-love, or simply working on yourself while still having fun. As this winter arc reaches its epilogue, we are taking those stories and emotions as inspiration for your art.

Join us for a themed live sketching London session where your stories and experiences become creative fuel. This gathering invites you to translate emotion into visuals through the bold lens of manga hyper perspective, dynamic movie-style shots, and the mood and colours of a graphic novel. Expect dramatic angles, cinematic framing, expressive silhouettes, and sketches that feel like a comic panel or a film still.

Whether your winter has been romantic, reflective, chaotic, healing, or quietly transformative, bring it to the page. We will explore nostalgia and reconnect with the inner child, leaning into the whimsy of comics while keeping the focus on expression, storytelling, and fun. All levels are welcome, including beginners, and regular artists can use this session to push composition, perspective, and narrative energy.
