About this Event
'Bauhaus Revisit'
Come celebrate life with us at this Early Masterworks' {Real Drawing is Thinking} Life Drawing series.
The Bauhaus school (1919–1933) wasn't just about architecture; it was about breaking forms down to their basics, the relationship between human and machine, and the interplay of geometry and color. To understand the Bauhaus is to understand the foundation of the modern visual world. Before the Bauhaus, the world looked Victorian—heavy, ornate, and obsessed with the past.
If you look around your room, you are likely looking at the legacy of the Bauhaus. Its principles have transcended physical architecture and bled into our digital and daily lives.
The Bauhaus is still relevant because it wasn't just a "style" (like Art Deco or Gothic). It was a method of problem-solving. As long as humans need things to be functional, affordable, and visually harmonious, the Bauhaus philosophy will survive and worth revisiting.
No previous experience in drawing is needed! Just come with curiosity and an open mind :)
