Elvis & Friends Fundraising Event in Bacchus

During the pandemic we provided online live rock n roll & Elvis Shows to keep you entertained while we were all in Lockdown. Now we need your help in raising as much as we can for our fundraising cause and hope you will join us in person to enjoy all the fun we shared during that time. This will be a night with a difference. We will have Elvis and assorted friends who either influenced Elvis or were friends with Elvis. We will even add in some tunes of artists who have been influenced by Elvis. Admission will be £5.00 per person and we will have raffles on the night. We would be delighted to see you all come along and join us for this very special cause for Yvonne Samson's "Follow That Dream" Fundraiser. Please note that this is a live gig and we hope that you can all come along and support us.
This is Yvonne's story ....................
The Elvis Touch is known for our Charitable Fundraising in Elvis' name and this year is no exception. For the next year we will be asking you to help us again with your generosity but the difference being its a very personal plea. Our niece Yvonne Samson has been diagnosed for a second time with Bowel Cancer but this time its terminal. Many of you know Yvonne from The Elvis Touch Kids Christmas Parties to attending various Elvis Touch events and Prestwick Dances over the years. She is a nurse in the Community, a wife to Jim, mum to 7 year old Alfie and stepmum to Eilidhh & Evie, daughter to Jackie & the late Kenny McLure and sister to Kenneth & Leanne.
We will let her tell you her story " As most people know and for those who don't my cancer has decided to return and this time will unfortunately end my life quicker that I'd planned. They estimate 2/3 years but I love a challenge so let's see how far I get. Until then I will stand & fight and enjoy my life.
That statement is typical of Yvonne. Now it's our turn to help out in any way we can. So to realise some of her dreams & tick off her bucket list we are going to fundraise to help her "Follow That Dream" a family holiday to Disney World & The Bahamas. So if you know of any way to raise cash we want to hear from you! We will have football cards, auctions, special raffles, we can put on extra fundraising nights etc over the next year and we will have extra fundraising activities at our Birthday Bash in Adamton House in January. Anything at all to give this family some happy times & make precious memories.
