Elsewhere in London: Indian Muslim Travellers in Victorian Britain is an archival exhibition based on the doctoral research of Abdul Sabur Kidwai, a final-year PhD candidate at King’s College London. Drawing on copies of archival material and historical records, the exhibition explores how Indian Muslim travellers moved through nineteenth-century Britain. It offers a glimpse into their social worlds and their connections to spaces such as Bloomsbury and Mecklenburgh Square.
