A repertoire without genre boundaries, where each piece becomes an opportunity to experiment, improvise, and merge different visions and experiences; a chance to transform the intimacy that the voice-piano duo typically evokes into something less predictable.
A recently born project in Amsterdam, where the two musicians - Elisa Marangon and Pietro Aloi - both Italian, live and met for the first time.

About the musicians
Elisa Marangon (vocals, composer) studied with Diana Torto and graduated in jazz singing with highest honors, at the Conservatory "G. B. Martini" in Bologna (Italy). She supplements her studies by taking jazz piano lessons with Ramberto Ciammarughi and Roberto Olzer. Recently moved to Amsterdam, she is an active musician in both the Netherlands, Italy and abroad, playing in various jazz clubs and festivals such as the Falkenberg Jazz Festival in Sweden, Casa del jazz (Roma), Bonaventura Jazz Club (Milano), and many more. She has recorded six albums as a singer and one as a singer-pianist, together with the Canova Trio.
Pietro Aloi (piano) is an italian jazz pianist currently based in Amsterdam. He has studied classical and jazz music at the Conservatorio G. Verdi of Milan and at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. As part of his studies, he also spent a semester in Philadelphia, studying with Bruce Barth at Temple University and privately with Fred Hersch.
