ELEVEN onzelf's music is jazz that blends naturally with other genres. Sure, it's jazz, but there's soul in it. And funk, lots of funk. The Berlin band plays expressive and original music characterized by unique songwriting, complex sounds, and energetic grooves.
The band emerged in 2020 from the acoustic song project of pianist and songwriter Nora Jim. By 2023, with the release of their singles ""Empty Seats"" and ""In a Way,"" ELEVEN onzelf had found their electric, crisp sound, which continues to define them today.
For this concert the trio invites two talented and creative musicians from the Berlin (and Argentinian) jazz scene: Patricio Böttcher on saxophone and Juan Borgatti on guitar.
