About this Event
Marking International Women's Month and Sister System’s 8th anniversary, we are coming together this March to shine a light on the remarkable talent, potential and power held by girls and young women affected by the care system. This gathering brings together an expert panel who will spotlight best practice, highlight meaningful collaboration opportunities, and explore how employers, the charity sector and the wider ecosystem can rethink opportunity and truly Elevate Her.
Together, we will examine how workplaces can unlock the power of overlooked talent, particularly young women and girls from the Global Majority impacted by the care system, by embracing inclusive recruitment and designing early intervention and early-career pathways that are purposeful and supportive, and creating cultures where equity is lived every day, not simply stated. Through our panel’s insights, we’ll uncover what works, where change is needed, and how we can collectively build a future where these young women can thrive.
