El Hooky Party caters to grown folks who are professionals by day and still enjoy partying, but with a bit more intention, style, and comfort. This event is our way of creating a space that is elevated, culturally rich, and full of energy. Our next event is on May 2nd- our Spring Fling, in collaboration with the Dominican Writers Association, where we’ll be welcoming guests attending the Dominican Writers Conference that weekend. Join us for good music, good energy, and a celebration of community and creativity!
About the Dominican Writers Conference ( May 1-3)
The Dominican Writers Conference is a three-day literary gathering dedicated to amplifying Dominican voices across fiction, poetry, creative nonfiction, and children’s literature. Bringing together writers, readers, and industry professionals, the conference was created to support craft, expand knowledge of the publishing industry, and build lasting community.
From conversations on identity and storytelling to practical sessions on publishing and career development, the conference creates space for Dominican writers to connect, learn, and be seen.
