🎉Our 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆! A milonga for marathon participants as well as all interested wonderful Berliners and visitors. We'll meet on top of Viktoriapark and dance around the monument. Enjoy the view of Kreuzberg, overlooking a waterfall. Our host for this event is Olaf! 🫶💜𝗘𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗽𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗼 - 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝗲𝗿 & 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗧𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗼 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗻 It takes place in Berlin Neukölln from May 22 to 24. 🎧 𝗗𝗝 𝗚𝗲𝗼𝗿𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗡𝗮𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗻 has danced tango since 2002. He began in Lebanon, where no tango community or milongas existed, learning from traveling teachers and sharing that knowledge at the American University of Beirut. With friends, he founded Beirut’s first milonga and helped run it before moving to the United States in 2007. He continued training in Cleveland and the Bay Area. In 2014, he won gold in Argentine Tango at the Gay Games. He began DJing in 2015, became a respected Bay Area DJ, and now DJs regularly in New York City and at tango events across the United States and Canada.
🤗 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗢𝗹𝗮𝗳 has been dancing as long as he can think. It all started as a child with grandma and waltzes in the kitchen. He got into tango in 1990 and never left again, constantly feeling a passion for musicality, the motion of the human body and deep connection. As a queer tango dancer he can be found anywhere they have good dancers and inspiring music. Being a Kreuzberger since 26 years he is therefore thrilled and honoured to host the After Contrapunto Marathon on the "Kreuzberg Mountain" for the first time with his friend Habibi Georges as a DJ.
