Join Us for Effort Over Perfection!
A free, family-friendly journal launch evening for girls aged 8–12 and their parents, hosted by the Effort Over Environment (EOE) Collective in partnership with Sports Interactive — London’s leading game studio and the developers of Football Manager.
Effort Over Perfection is an interactive experience designed to help young girls build confidence, embrace mistakes, and focus on trying their best — not being perfect.
Through fun games, reflection activities, and guided journaling prompts, participants will explore what it means to keep going, learn from setbacks, and celebrate effort in football, school, and everyday life.
This special Friday evening event also marks the launch of the Effort Over Perfection Journal — a creative growth-mindset journal created to help girls track goals, reflect on their feelings, and build positive habits.
Children will get to:
- Take part in fun games (PlayStation, 4 in a Row, football table)
- Try sample pages from the Effort Over Perfection Journal
- Join effort-based challenges and storytelling moments
- Share reflections in a supportive environment
- Learn how mistakes help us grow
Parents are welcome to attend, observe, and support their child throughout the session.

📘 Physical journals will be available to purchase on the night.
📱 A cheaper digital version will also be available via QR code to download and print at home.
