About this Event
Step into our cozy, creative space and explore the art of slow stitching at your own pace. This free-style drop-in invites you to unwind, experiment and make something uniquely yours using our collection of fabrics, threads and embellishments.
Slow stitching is a mindful approach to hand-stitching that invites you to pause, breathe, and embrace imperfection. Think of it as stitching for the soul—not for speed or flawlessness. Each stitch becomes a moment of presence and reflection.
There are no rules and no experience required—just a chance to slow down and enjoy the process of stitching by hand. Whether you’re layering textures, mending, storytelling through cloth, or simply playing with color and pattern, this is your time to create intuitively. Feel free to bring in your stitching journal or begin one with our supplies.
All supplies are provided and no formal instruction is given. This is a fully self led session to do whatever you like with our fibre art supplies . Want to bring in a garment that needs mending and use slow stitching to repair? Go ahead! Come for a few minutes or stay awhile—this is about making space for creativity, connection and mindful making.
Coffee and tea are included.
