"One of the joys of dancing is moving together. Partner dances often happen either in close, physical contact or in open space. In our workshop we’ll explore the fascinating edge between these two dances. We will play with weaving in and out of physical contact. This interplay infuses the dance with a playful tension and the element of surprise.
Join us as we share techniques for fluidly transitioning between contact and open movement, making touch and weight-sharing a natural extension of our dance. This workshop welcomes every-body, and no prior experience is needed—just a spark of curiosity and a willingness to explore."
