Join us for a 2.5-hour street clean and weeding bee around Warren Freer Park and nearby streets.
Meet at Mt Albert Library, 84 St Lukes Road, Mount Albert, Auckland.
Sunday 29 March | 1:00โ3:30pm
Weโll remove litter and tackle invasive pest plants to help prepare the park for a native planting event later in the year. The weeding session will be led by Urban Ark, who will share practical guidance on why pest plant control matters and how to identify key W**d species while protecting similar-looking natives.
Activities will be tailored to different ages and abilities.
This special Mount Albert Team Up 2 Clean Up is delivered by Mt Albert Library, Urban Ark and Earth Action Trust as part of the Albert-Eden & Puketฤpapa Eco Festival.
All cleaning and weeding tools provided. Refreshments available.
