About this Event
The Early Childhood Common Agenda (ECCA) invites you to our Annual In-Person Advocacy Training on Saturday, April 11 in Columbia, South Carolina.
This is our MOST INCLUSIVE statewide, in-person gathering of the year—bringing together advocates, community members, professionals, and partners from across South Carolina who are passionate about improving outcomes for young children and families.
Throughout the day, participants will:
- Build or strengthen their advocacy skills through interactive training sessions
- Hear updates on current legislative priorities and what’s happening at the SC State House
- Learn how to effectively engage with elected officials and decision-makers
- Connect with fellow advocates from across the state
- Participate in discussions on ECCA’s key priority areas
The event will include a mix of engaging activities, including small group discussions, an expert-led panel, and opportunities to practice advocacy skills in a supportive environment.
We will also take our annual ECCA group photo—a special moment that reflects the strength and reach of our statewide network.
Whether you are new to advocacy or have been engaged for years, this training is designed to meet you where you are and help you take the next step.
Light breakfast snacks and full hot lunch will be provided!
