Ebony Ball - Beauty in Black

The Ebony Ball is the Black Affairs Council’s annual signature formal event

celebrating Black excellence, leadership, and unity at Southern Illinois

University Carbondale. The 2026 Ebony Ball will take place on Saturday,

February 28, 2026, at the SIUC Student Center Ballrooms, with doors

opening at 6:30 PM and the formal program running from 7:00 PM to 11:00

PM. The event is expected to host approximately 150–200 guests, including

students, alumni, faculty, and community members.
