Centrala presents Eastern Incantations 2.0 In 2021 Centrala initiated a two-day festival of eclectic electronic live music from a wide range of international musicians living in the UK including performances from *Nina Anto, an emerging, London-based Polish singer/songwriter with unique lyrical tones. MUHA, performing a combination of Eastern European folklore, North Indian Kathak rhythms and Cuban beats and the headliner Sons of Viljems, the London-based Italo-Slovenian duo who will mesmerize with their distinctive, cinematic and ambient Nu-Jazz.
This time Eastern Incantations will be accompanying the exhibition of Andrius Arutiunian, 'Diaphonics', which will bring together Lithuanian experimental musicians based in Lithuania with a wide range of international musicians living in the UK. Two nights of electronic experimental music and spells, improvised sound sculptures, chaotic noises and hypnotic rituals with Andrius Arutiunian headlining the first night with mesmerising aural cosmologies.
The festival is supported using public funding by Arts Council England and by funding by the Lithuanian Culture Institute.
